Being a member of the guild gives us a status that can’t achieved by many of the other instututes that are out there. We also know how hard it is to get hold of a tradesman that you can trust to begin the work that you work so hard to be able to afford.
A lot of the jobs people need are more in the handyman type of jobs, and might include putting up shelves, a door won’t close, a warped window, or a patch of wall which needs plastered up. The list of small jobs is endless.
Many of the larger builders, and construction companies won’t do the smaller jobs. That’s where we do come in. Although we do take on larger extension & renovation type work, we love the small jobs as well.

To be a member of the Guild, it is not simply a case of writing a cheque and signing an application form. As a company, we had to give references from previous customers, and they referees were asked if they would recommend us to friends or relatives. We also had to provide evidence of previous work, to ensure the Guild were happy with our level of professionalism.
The one perk we have always looked forward to is the year end annual bash. Unfortunately we have been away at the same time every year, and have yet to make it. Maybe this year will be the year that we make the gatherings!!
